Terms of Service
Effective date: June 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms govern your access to and use of RootWise, provided by RootWise(“RootWise”, “we”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and the organization you represent.2. The service
RootWise is a guided root-cause-analysis coaching platform. It helps your team work through investigations and capture causes, actions, and handoffs.3. Guidance, not a substitute for your judgment
The AI coach provides guidance to help structure an investigation. It is not a substitute for professional engineering, quality, food-safety, or regulatory judgment. You remain responsible for verifying causes, validating corrective actions, and meeting your own regulatory and safety obligations. Decisions you make based on the service are your responsibility.4. Accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for the activity of your team members, and for keeping access credentials secure. Administrators are responsible for who they invite and the roles they assign.5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service — including attempting to access another organization's data, probing or disrupting the platform's security, or uploading unlawful content. Suspected security issues should be reported responsibly (see our Security page).6. Your data & ownership
You own the content you put into RootWise — your investigations, evidence, and reports. You grant us the limited rights needed to host and process that content solely to provide the service to you. We will export or delete your data on request, as described in our Privacy Policy.7. Fees
RootWise is offered to organizations on a subscription basis, billed by invoice under the terms of your order or agreement with us. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, fees are non-refundable.8. Availability
We work to keep RootWise available and reliable, but the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law.9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RootWise will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.10. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. On termination, you may request export or deletion of your data.11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated effective date.13. Contact
